Does anyone have a proper paint code for the GTR 350 Red. I would imagine this topic has come up numerous times but I could really use some help. Thanks in advance. Kawajockey

I have a good match for Flamboyant Red, but I need to wait until Monday to get the numbers from my painter. I'll post then.

Hey kawajockey,
Here's a BS service letter with the paint codes. You're looking for the 175 red. Don't know how much it will help?

Good luck! Steve

Thanks Davis, it is appreciated.

The paint I used was:
Several coats of GM Silver to cover.
8 coats of Hot Hues' "Hot Apple Candy".
Hope this helps.

That paint job looks great, Davis. There was an old thread ( http://bridgestonemotorcycleparts.com/index.php?topic=585.msg1593#msg1593 ) that I quoted Nick Holt's formula in, yours sounds much simpler.

Does anyone know the paint codes or a supplier for the 350's Imperial Gold? RS Motorbikes Paint Colors has a paint: http://www.rsbikepaint.com/en-us/colours.php#makeid=22&modelid=583. Just looking for suggestions from ones who had successful applications using this paint color. I have no ability to match it.

Mea culpa folks. Upon review I found the initial color given the blog for my paint was from Hot Hues. The painter later told me it was from Valspar, House of Kolor, Candy Apple Red, Urethane, code UK11.
Bert, note the gas cap.

Thanks for the update, it is appreciated. Now looking for a new painter as the one I had in mind to do my GTR retired.

Correct Bob,
House Of Kolor - Valspar
UK11 For Urethane Kandy, or
KBC11 For The Kandy Basecoat

Kawajockey - my painter is local and has proven himself. You can use him if you want, I would be willing to help in any way.
Taking my GTR to its first show tomorrow. Really not good timing for me, but a bunch of guys are very enthusiastic about seeing one so I'm saddling up.
