That's correct - neutral is at the top, down for first, down for second etc., all the way to 6th.
Unlike the smaller Bridgestones the 350s have stops on the shift drum, so you can't shift down from 6th into neutral (or up from neutral into 6th).
When you do get it going and out on the road, just remember that these bikes don't have a rev limiter, so take great care if you're used to a conventional shift. Shifting the wrong way can be embarrassing. There aren't any valves to get tangled, but I believe that if you overrev it hard enough you can bust rings (I'm pretty sure that's what happened to mine, fortunately a long time, several owners and an engine rebuild ago).
