What a nice low key event. Next year,I need to bring a mini or something to putt about on. I met with Grundelgrabber/Rob on Saturday morning to pick up the 175. It's a rough puppy...fits my needs to a "T". All the essentials are here, nice straight frame w/clear title, decent tank, and a good starter engine. Thanks for bringing it down,Rob. Hope you found some goodies at the swap meet! Swap meet runs all three days, seemed to be the best by Sat. afternoon, and gets pretty much packed up by Sunday noon. I think it encompasses around 8-10 acres of parts and bikes. Show attendance was way down due to the foreboding and completely inaccurate weather forecast. It turned out to be a beautiful day. Predominately Honda, the show did have some super nice Yamaha's and a beautifully restored example of a Suzuki 125 twin. I'll add a few pics later. I'm not a real bad photographer, but I am a real bad computer operator,so a few is all I've managed not to lose!(again). The SR stole a first in its class,it was the only Bridgestone in the show. Mr. Larry Young was in attendance Saturday,we had a good time with all the inquisitive passers by. Larry rode his Gold Wing down this year, accompanied by his wife and daughter, and did not bring any of his own Bridgestones to show,(all very nice). I think he showed up with 5 or so last year, including an award winning Chibi deluxe. We sorely missed him on Sunday. Only other Bridgestone I saw was a nice repainted TMX that was in the sale tent on Sat. I saw it being ridden out of the grounds later that day,but don't know if it sold. Thanks to all who may have attended. Mark.
