My BS 175 DT drips a little oil under the right side of the motor. How do you check the oil level for the gears?

Remove the small bolt behind/below the right-side carburetor cover, fill until the oil runs out of the hole. The bike needs to be level, of course.  Download the service manual from this site, it has a lot of good info. The owner's manual is here also.
