Title: 1966 bridgestone 175

I have a chance to buy a 1966 175 with 4000 miles and a title.. need complete restoration but it is all complete even the two mirrors .. It also has a bridgestone tailight bracket , were these original  ?.. Tank is half way decent. original tires , no dents any of the body work or fenders. seat has no tears... can anybody give me a ball park fiqure on what it might be worth.

Really hard to put a value on a description. Yes, the "Bridgestone" plate holder if that is what you meant by taillight bracket is original and common.

The only way to do this in person, or with lots of REALLY GOOD pictures.  Even then if you ask 5 people, you will get 5 answers.  Problem is that price and value vary depending on what you want from the bike.  The only good way to go is to watch bikes sell for a while, determine what you really want from the bike, and only then can you put your own value on one that's for sale.  If you aren't sure what it's worth, you haven't been looking long enough to buy.

I agree with the above, and with no photos to know what the chrome looks like - maybe $300-800.
More if chrome isn't really pitted and pealing, but a final price all depends.

I agree with the other comments but just to give you some info. I paid $350 for a similar sounding bike. I have mine all apart rebuilding and repainting it. It will be a great around town bike with high mpgs.

If the chrome, fenders, shocks and mufflers are good, sounds like it would be worth picking up as these are the tougher parts to replace.

 I don't know what condition the tank is in, so you would have to deal with that probably.  Is it running?  That is always a big factor in bargaining.  Value is tough without pictures.  Location is also a factor.  Bridgestone are less common in certain parts.

See if you can get it $400 or less and you will be doing well.  Value could be more or less depending on a lot of things mentioned.  You can find them from $100 to $2500!  Good luck!

I paid 750 for a DT175 and a HS175, the DT is built up for racing and is more or less a cafe style with mimimalistic chrome and frills with a completely reworked motor and CDI ignition, the HS has all the chrome in good condition and is a solid running bike. Both need little things to be complete, such as a generator for the one bike and some tiny bits like a brake lever.

I seen the one on columbas ohio craigs list for 425 I believe,need s resto, title ,looks like a good start, I think 425 is high for that one.
