Fresh 1970 Chibi Restoration - Additional Pix
« on: January 05, 2021, 06:40:24 PM »
Sharing pictures of my recently restored 1970 non-deluxe Chibi. I powder coated the frame, fenders and rims using Prismatic Illusion blue and clear. Tank is custom color matched using a 3 stage PPG paint (white primer, silver metallic base, Metallic Illusion Blue mid coat, and 4 coats of a K2 clear, wet sanded and polished). The engine was a complete tear down and rebuild. This Chibi will join my deluxe model for awhile at the Northeast Classic Car (Motorcycle) Museum located in Norwich NY. I will post restoration pictures in my gallery.

Chrome/polishing - Atlas Plating - Texas
Seat - Northeast Trim - Oneida NY.

Kevin

Kevin,
I have a 73 Chibi Deluxe that I have began restoring.  Would you have any time and/or interest in doing the engine rebuild??

Thanks, Greg
