Substitute kick start lever question
« on: March 27, 2014, 07:41:35 AM »
Is there a kick start lever available that works on BS90 trail?  Is there a reproduction?  Any advice would be appreciated!

This one looks a little rough, but could be rechromed, etc. I'm not sure that the 100 and 90 parts are interchangeable, but this was the best match my quick search turned up. Good Luck!

Thanks!  Bert.  I'll check the parts manual to be sure.  mqtsteve

Hi,
Have you tried getting your part from Richard? My guess it he probably has your part.

Thanks Mike!  Yes I asked RC.  He didn't have the lever, had the pedal, spring and rubber.

Hi, Steve,

It's a shame that RC doesn't have any kickstart levers at the moment, but the levers are the same on all 90 and 100cc Bridgestones, and also on the 50 S[port and 60 Sport models. That might give you a few more possible sources for a used lever. The Rockford "Taka" also used the same lever, I believe.

Hope that helps,

Graham

Thanks disc_valve!  I was able to get the one bert put up from eBay.  I appreciate the info from both of you.  I would be lost without the help of this site and its members!  Thanks again, Steve
