Title: Chibi Deluxe Restored
Post by: rwgibbon on April 25, 2020, 09:59:39 AM
I finally finished the detailing to this project.
It was originally sold at Schmidts & Serafines
at 464 Chase Avenue, Waterbury, Conn.

Everything works and it runs great.

This is the first time I did my own painting
and I am pleased with the results.

On to the next project.

I have down loaded a couple pictures of the
finished bike in my Gallery under Chibi.

Randy,

Very nicely done!  Looks like it will be a lot of fun.

Seen your post on FB. I asked about the paint. Thanks for your reply. Another question where did you get the seat covers.

Thanks Al

It is a NOS Seat that I picked up along time ago.

If I am not mistaken Richard has them.

Nice looking bike! I just picked up a 1971 Chibi that was my father in laws as a kid. Were going to try and restoring it for him as a surprise. Many months of work ahead! Did you contact Richard for any parts? Wondering how big of a stock he has of the Chibi.

Parts I didn't already have I got parts from Richard, ebay or Certified Parts Corporation.

Enjoy the restoration project.
