May 17, 2011, 09:33:57 PMShouldered wheel rims, exposed spring rear shocks, The Stylish Two Stroke that could have been. Just think if the 1969 GTR had been styled like this?

May 05, 2011, 09:27:22 PMThe tach maybe electric? Im guessing the two pictures were taken a diferent times? One looks like the bike just rolled out of storage. Thats Mr Kanai the BS vintage racer in the "cleaned " up Time Tunnel photo. Looks like it was set up as a solo bike.
Yes, that is a Hurricane Scrambler toolbox under the seat and an early Dual twin sub-oil tank under the seat. If you look closely, yiou cab see that the bike has a pair of conical "K & N" type filters attached direcdtly to the carb caps. On another shot, you can see that the bike has a pair of GTR clocks, but I can't see any sign of a tacho cable. I'm not sure where you would attach a drive on a 175 motor, although as the bike was only a prototype, maybe the tacho was only there for show?
Glad you enjoyed the pic,
Graham
