progress on my gto.
« on: May 09, 2011, 10:31:38 PM »
Posted three new photos of my GTO to show recent progress. It is coming together finally. Hope it looks as good to others as it does to me. Can't make everything look new but it is a GTO.

Wow!  Nice job!  Great flix.  How did you find or what did you use for those white insulator washers on the exhaust shields?

Hi Charlie,

Richard sold me the washers and fasteners. Give him a call.
Thanks Mike

Mike,
Is this bike still tentatively headed for Oz?

Hi Steve,

No this one is now going to the Carolina's. The other one may be going to Guatemala, who knows it seems everyone wants one.

That's a great problem to have if you are a seller!

Mike
Did you use the handle bar clamps to make the handle bars higher on the GTO.
Thanks.
Steve.

Hi Steve,
Just noticed your post. I think I will, the new owner seemed to like the idea of higher bars. As long as the cables reach I will do it and he can always lower them with just a few shorter bolts.
