« on: February 26, 2012, 06:49:29 PM »
Hi All,
I posted some new photos today of the 350 GTR that I started up today. It is basically finished, just a few details and another one will be done. Let me know how you think it looks.
Thanks Mike

Hi Coxy,

Steve Reed hooked me up with some Avon tires. They look pretty good on the bike.
Thanks Mike

Mike

Great looking bike, you sure did a lot of work,  looks as new.
I can not wait to see it.  Have you drove it yet.  I am inviting my self to come up and check it out!  :D

If is so nice to see people actually restoring Bridgestones instead of just "fixing them up"

Mike:  You inspire me to get something done.

Hi Mike, the finished GTR looks amazing. That is how I envisage my GTR to look when it's completed but I've a way to go yet with re chroming, wheel building and painting etc.

Like coxy I would also like to know what Avon tyres you have fitted as I'm in the process of buying a pair.

Yes those are the tyres I will buy, no thanks to Avon Tyres U.K. though who suggested I use these tyres when I asked what they thought would be best suited to a 1968 Bridgestone GTR with 3.25 X 19" F and R.

Total waster and doesn't deserve to be in the technical position he holds. >:(
