It doesn't sound right, but sure looks real in the air.
Never really considered a top 5 list, but ones I'd probably put there: F4U Corsair, F4 Phantom, Bearcat, B-58 Hustler and XB-70.

Those model air plane engines are kind of a two stroke diesel, so they do sound funny. I tried twice to fly a R/C plane and both times it ended badly. I can't imagine having that monstrosity get away from you.

Years ago I worked at a motorcycle dealer and one of the sales guys took in a complete R/C plane set up on trade to close the bike deal out. He basically gave $200 for it. It had a rather large and upscale plane, a remote starter motor that hooked up to a car battery, two transmitters, tools, fuel, and a case.

None of us knew how to fly the darn thing but he took it out back behind the shop building and decided to try and just taxi it around on the asphalt. He got pretty good at doing that so he decided to try a few little hops with it, kind of like a touch and go, if you will. Well, it took off kind of on it's own, went into a slow right turn and flew right into the loading dock. The solid concrete loading dock. There was nothing left of it. I can't remember ever seeing anything so totally destroyed in my entire life. He was standing there with a look of total disbelief on his face while we were all dying laughing. Ahhhh, memories  :o

We are not too far off Old Smokey B-29, B58 Hustler( I think is the most handsome of all big bombers ), P-38 Lightning, F4 Phantom, and the F15 Eagle, and thats only my U.S Top 5.  ::)

other fun ones to fly would be an F-104, DeHavilland Mosquito and Vampire. So many planes, so little money!

Hey Steve... I saw some coolo R/C copters at (of all places) Wally World and almost bought one. But then reality kicked in and I could forsee it ending badly just like OldSwartout's vid. I probably saved one of the Cat's lives by not buying that.....

Tom
I started off on the indoor Helicopter and we still have one, you can not go wrong they are very easy to fly!
On my Eagle 50 i have a cam and i can take pictures etc in the air and video so i could take video of you riding
Your Bridgestone 350GTR just above you that would make good pictures for the site it would be like a James
Bond movie.I will try and get pictures i live near a lake and there is no cable its Dial up or the Verizon air card
It takes a long time to down load pictures.
Many Thanks.
Steve.
