1971 350 GTO Oil Reservoir
« on: August 25, 2016, 09:14:41 PM »
can anyone help me find a oil reservoir.  I'm trying to rebuild my elderly neighbors bike that he purchased in 71.  found 2 cracks in the original tank

also looking for a points cover and the right side clutch cover that was cracked when he brought it over.

any help would be appreciated!

thanks again

I have a spare. It has been cracked around the ends of the strap on the back, but brazed and should work fine. It's very clean inside, but needs a new oil level window, which Richard Clark has. It still has the original faded red paint.  Free, just pay shipping. PM me if interested.

Hi,
Are you looking for the metal red tank that goes on a GTR or the plastic tank for a GTO? I can probably help you with a right side carb cover if that is what you need. They are pretty pricey since most of them are broken. Richard probably has the points covers. Give me a call.

If you're not going for show quality, that cover can always be bondo'd up and painted.

Richard Clark the site owner has a new oil tank. You should contact him on the tank, possibly a fuel tap etc. I can help with a nice carb cover but they are a little pricey due to the fact that most got broken. Let me know if I can help. Call me.
