That bikes going to look great with a re-chromed tank.  Does not look like it was raced.

  I Am The Present Owner Of The SR  Ive Been A Member Of The Sit For A Couple Years  It Has Been A Good Sit For Information And Other Bridgestone People     I Was Involved With Bridgestone Since The 60s  I Have 2 175sr So I Decided To Let One Go So Someone Else Could Finish The Restotation  A Recrome Of Wheels Tank & Handle Bars Along With New Orange Paint On Tank Will Make A Real Head Turner  It Runs Great And The Sound Of The Racing Exaust Is Like No Other Sound Especially When You Snap The Throtle  Im Sure The New Owner Will Enjoy Showing It I Got It From A Bridgestone Dealer In Wisconson  They Never Raced It Just Tore Around The Farm

It appears it was used as a getaway vehicle after a tryst with the farmers daughter.... notice the bullet hole in the seat!  :o

No, that wasn't me, but I did talk to you about purchasing your restored GTO. Would've loved to have it, just couldn't afford it at the time. Really nice bike!

Also loved the Cuda that was in the background of the pictures you sent me.

    The Cuda Is A 1971 Convertable    It Was One Of One  The Only 340 Shaker Billboard Ever Made   Was On The Front Cover Of Muscle Car Review  Spring Or 2006    Like Them AS Much As Bridgestones   After Seeing The Gold GTO Last Week On Ebay Go For 8.288    Im Clad I Still Have It  GENE

Should see a nice pop in the bidding tomorrow.  May come down to the last minute.  Should be interesting to see if it hits the reserve.  Nice rare machine.

This is funny. I'm a new member to the site. I'm pretty sure this is the bike my friend Rudy bought. It went to California and is now in Phoenix being restored. It's interesting how things work out.   :)
