Replacing a kick starter shaft on a 90?

I was considering buying a 90.  The kick starter shaft had snapped off at some time.  Before I make a offer, how much work is involved to replace this shaft?  Thanks in advance.

You do have to take the engine case apart to install a new KS shaft, not too hard, but it does involve a full tear down, follow the factory manual, in the MANUAL/ARTICLES section.

Thanks Richard.  I am confident I can get it apart.  I am good at demolition.  The problem may be getting it back together!  Should be educational for me.
