I wanted to pass along the sad news that Karl Swartout passed on Dec30th. He was a wealth of information on Bridgestones and always a pleasure to talk too. That is very sad news indeed bsracer.
Karl's insights were of great help to me and to many others I'm certain.
His clear & direct dissertations on a wide range of Bridgestone subjects reflected his broad experience and inspired me to be helpful on this forum where I could.
And to not ramble on or wander off the subject.
In Karl's name I will try to continue that and get back to restoring my 175HS with vigour.

Oh, that is sad news to read.
I briefly met Karl about 13-15 years ago at a Road America motorcycle race weekend in Elkhart Lake, WI.
