Title: Additional Exhaust Packing?
Post by: rocketman on November 07, 2010, 11:55:05 AM
What alternative exhaust packing materials do your helpers use? Mine seem to like a combination of fibreglass insulation, various cardboard and paper products, nut shells and some plastic strands for durability. About 8ft.worth sprayed out across the shop floor on start-up. (350 GTR's been in barn storage for about 20 years.)  Mark.

That stuff is way too clean and white. Those are probably mouse nests  :o

The mouse may still be in there, or you splatted him on the wall behind you when you started it.

Tom,I think these guys were experienced interior decorators by thier wide use of color. The stuff in the pictures is actually bright yellow, the paper is multi colored red, white and brown, and the plastic is blue! And,yes,I think these guys have left town! No sign of 'em anywhere, not even on the wall!  Mark.

I would have called in Billy the exterminator that would make a great show!
And that would put you and Bridgestone on the map.
Only joking.
Steve.

That's a great idea,Steve. Maybe if I leave it in the back, untouched till spring, they will come back and re-decorate. Then Billy can just stand behind the bike with his catchers mitt. At 6-8ft.,they should be slowed down enough to make a "live" catch,(maybe a little toasted). Too much reality for TV?  Mark.
