1971 A7SS Avengers

In the spring of 2000 I went to an auction at Sport Wheels in Jordan MN and bought 3 A7s. The two 71 models in the picture and a 67 model. The picture was taken right after my brother Mike and I returned from a 600 mile trip from Sioux City IA to Anamosa IA and back. The National Motorcycle Museum is in Anamosa and is well worth stopping at.

did the 1971 Avengers come in a low pipe version ?

Yes they did. I believe they did not have the SS in their model name just A7.
