Looks like the next batch of money to leave the checking account is to replace a washing machine.
Got a call at work today from my wife saying our front load washer (Maytag Neptune) decided to spew water out the door during the spin cycle.
Never again are we buying a front load washer, this is the second one to fail and not reach the age of 5 years either time.

I've had my Sears Kenmore for 12 years now without any problems. Nothing fancy, just works.

Yea, Front load washers just never seemed to make much sence to me. Kind a like asking for a water leak at some point.

bloody washing machines i have to buy another one as my work cloths are so dirty with bitumen etc i have to clean it out with thinner based degrease r  before the wife can do any normal washing

Stupid washing machine. I'm thinking it's probably close to equaling the cost of getting the GTR engine rebuilt by a real motorcycle mechanic. And I don't envision myself having a lifetime of good memories about the washing machine.

Had GE Profile front loaders since '06.  Never a problem and wife loves the set.  Interesting subject of conversation on a motorcycle site.
