I went to a small swap meet/show down in Massachusetts this morning. It is held yearly and specializes in Japanese motorcycles. One of the few events for these brands in this area. The only Bridgestone there, was an old shell of a 175. It was beyond rusty and mostly incomplete. It even had a rust hole in the side of the fuel tank much bigger than your fist. The seller had a $150 price posted on it!
Although I appreciated the effort of the persons who put the show on, there was not a heck of a lot for sale. A lot of people looking around though. No Bridgestone stuff at all. NOS stuff for any make was far a few between. It appears from talking to some sellers, EBAY has made it obsolete to spend your time packing up anything good. A lot of what I saw was either junk or large objects that no one wants to pay for the shipping. I am sure some guys/gals found something though.
The event was still good as far as getting enthusiasts together. I guess that is what's most important. One of these days, I am going to get out to one of the larger shows.
