1971 BS 200 Dynamo

Does anyone out there rebuild old generators for these bikes? I took the stuck dynamo in to an alternator guy locally and he laughed at me. So far have purchased 4 of them and they are all in the same state of disrepair and dysfunction. Any thoughts?  Jeff

What kind of problems are you seeing? If the windings are intact, the bearings are easily found at your local bearing supplier. Points cams can be cleaned up and  polished , etc.

The worst of it is rust in the windings of the stator and rusted out points and condensers. I found replacement points but nothing else available.  Looking for someone who can take in the pieces, clean everything up, replace the bearings, points and condensers and test it to make sure it works before I reinstall it.
