Title: Bridgestone 350 transmission video
Post by: CL-100 on January 07, 2018, 02:50:54 PM
I looked for one of these videos recently before starting the rebuild on my 350, but couldn't find one.  There is one on Youtube for a 175 4/5 speed transmission though.

My project engine was mostly complete but had been disassembled and loosely put back together.  (Still haven't figured out why the cases were split.)  At least most of the gears were on the countershaft and drive shafts.  My previously build was a box of parts that had nothing on the shafts unless they were originally pressed on.  Anyway, I continue to be fascinated with the engineering and thought that went into making these transmissions work.  They seem to be extremely solid and reliable.  Maybe this will help someone else in the future with their reassembly but for now it just amazes me with how well it works.  After stumbling my way through this reassembly the service manual actually makes sense to me now.  Hope this helps.

Nice Job,
Looks like you have the u-tube process down pat. Tranny is working perfect. I need to get the video process straight so when it warms up I can post the racer running around the yard. Thanks for the video.
