Just bought a 90 from buddy,
« on: July 15, 2012, 09:44:14 AM »
Hello,
I have wrenched on multiple motorbikes and minibikes.  I got hooked on Japanese mini bikes because my wife has two Honda ct70s from childhood.  These are fun but many a bit small for me.
At a recent auto swap meet a buddy brought out his wifes old bs90 to sell.  Hasn't run for fifteen years.  I told him I would buy it.  I love the look and it's the right size for me to use.
My plan is to first make it run, and do a full safety check and give it  a good cleaning.  Make sure it's complete and do any repair.  I know I will have to do some welding to the rear fender for sure.  But otherwise it's a good looking bike.
Thanks for reading
Wish me luck
Ed
