What do you find is the most comfortable level of bench or lift to work on your rolling bike?  Mark.

That depends what part you are working on. I personally have a air lift with three "locked" positions, depending what I'm doing at the time.  We also have used it as a serving table for the occasional party. ;D

I sure wish I had a lift that would lift it from the wheels, but years ago, I made a 7' workbench from steel that is 21" high. As a whole, it is perfect for me. The handle bar area is a tad too high, but there is not allot up there, that I can't standing on a 10" stool. The rest is perfect for me and the bikes I work on from scooters to Goldwings. The reason I would like a lift is the weight of getting the Goldwing up on it. If that big sucker gets away from me. I am in deep do do.

I have three of the motorcycle lifts from northen tools they pump up to a nice level.
Remove the back plate then you can drop the rear wheel of the motorcycle very easy!
For doing tires and wheel bearings etc.
Thanks.
Steve.

Mark, on mine (Handy) the measurements are...4 1/2 inches...21 1/2 inches...23 1/2 inches...25 1/2 inches. Mine is also roughly 40 years old. It still has an airbag to lift it. The newer ones are hydralic and might have more adjustability in them. ...........................Jim
