Ground problems

Ground problems.
I was doing a boat engine that would not turn over and the customer had purchased a new starter motor (300.00).
He had fitted the new starter motor and the engine would not turn over and it turned out to be a grounding to
metal that isn't electrically connected to the negative battery terminal so a new cable and the boat engine was running.
Most people get obsessed with positive current delivery they forget the return.
So when working on your Bridgestone check your ground cable clean the cable end and the frame where it bolts on two!
For better lights running and charging etc.
Thanks.
Reed.
