Description: Repairs made to the gear box, new selector fork and drum guide bolt with aluminium washer.

Note.. The middle selector fork has to be relieved on the casting where the guide rod slides through as it can fowl the gearbox casing when fitted.

All new oil seals and one new small bearing as it was easily accessible and I had one.

On the crank the large outer seals were fixed in position with a number of centre punch marks as they had become loose then sealed with Threebond engine case sealer.

The labyrinth 'O' ring was replaced, this can be stretched over the crank into position, yes it's a bit loose at first but if left for a week it contracts to a snug fit, a light smear of Hymolar sealer before assembly.

The photo here shows all the parts fitted, this was just a final fitting check. They were removed again to allow cleaning of the casing threads before being lubricated and refitted.
