I know the brakes were wider on the A1 & A7. They may have been larger diameter, but I'm not certain.

Most of the Japanese MCs of that era had very similar construction in many areas, but there is very little interchangeability of individual parts.

coxy,
The Kawasaki 650 W2 rear shocks are very close to the Bridgestone GTR 350 etc.
Thanks.
Steve.
PS and come apart in the same way as the Bridgestone GTR and GTO.

That's good to know.  Good ones of those may be about as rare as BS 350 shocks, though. :-\

The shoes are the same size, but are different part numbers.  Someone (Richard, I think), said the 350 shoes were a better material.  They are decent brakes for the era and work pretty good on the street, but they don't hold up well racing or riding in the mountains.

when i had my brake issue just before the show i tried using my 175 shoes they were half worn out i adjusted them fully out this did not work i had no stop at all .
fact.the 350 brakes are twice as good as the t140 disc which is eight years younger
