This one would look good with black cylinders. (Don't let Steve Reed see this) ;D

Old Smokey,
The heads you see in the picture have been vapor blasted, look how clean the combustion chamber are.
A nice clean finish!!
Thanks.
Steve.

Reed, that vapor cleaning does look nice. Probably the next thing to get shipped out.
The gal at the reception window of Millenium was nice enough to offer me a tour of their shop 10 minutes before closing. The lights were already off but she showed me the cleaning acid tanks, welding workstation, replating and shipping areas. She said they normally do 90% snowmobile cylinder repair and maybe 100 cylinders a day in the warmer months but get about 250 cylinders a day during the winter season.
My cylinders have unique part numbers etched on the bottom side of the lowest fin and the piston package was wrapped with the corresponding number so I know which piston and cylinder set goes together.
A nice operation and experience with them. I had dropped off the new pistons at the end of business Friday and got the call before noon the next Monday they were ready for pick-up (repairs and plating were already done and they were waiting on new pistons for final honing).
I will try to get better pictures posted with this thread within a few days.

A picture of the right cylinder's bore after replating.
This shows more of the porosity holes from the original casting.
