Chibi Deluxe 1970 Model
« on: December 13, 2014, 10:53:58 PM »
Finally done and dusted

Note: Decals/Stickers Australian delivered model - see tank and different sticker on seat base - different to US model. Also Magneto cover plate has 'Tas Motor' instead of Bridgestone.

Well done Ray!  Looks great!  If you hadn't mentioned the stickers I'm not sure I would have noticed they aren't Rockford models.  Steve

Thanks guys for your kind comments.

I sprayed the bike using Acrylic with Acrylic clear on top. All done at home outdoors - no wind that day - using a home compressor and gun. I have used auto enamel in the past - cheaper than acrylic, but very messy and prone to runs.  The Acrylic is pretty 'idiot proof' and dries fast. I am quite happy with the results.

Thanks
Ray
