2010 Bridgestone Motorcycle Rally at Mid-Ohio

Currently the AMA is planning out the club spaces
available for the July 9 - 11, Mid-Ohio Vintage
Motorcycle Show.

We will know by the end of March if there is space
available for a display of Bridgestone Motorcycles
and other Bridgestone items of interest.

I will post the details as they become available.

The AMA has a spot for the Bridgestone Group at Mid-Ohio, July 8-12, 2010.
Currently we have the following motorcycles that will be on display;

350 GTR, 350 GTO, 175 DT, 175 HS, 350 Racer, 175 Racer

We are looking for people with the following bikes to include at
the event; 100 Racer, 100, 90, 50, B7, different models of each are welcome.

We have been assigned a space in the Classic Motorcycle Club section.
We requested a space large enough to display 12 motorcycles plus
other items that pertain to Bridgestone Motorcycle's, signs, banners, etc..

The setup is being put together by Larry Young, Larry Vancil, and
myself, Randy Gibbon. We would like to have anyone willing to
help and ideas for the display to contact one of us so we can get underway
with the event.

Gene, This site is by far the best place to sell BS's or parts, the meet at Mid-Ohio is great, but there will only be a few
people there who are into stones, on this site there are hundreds of interested people.

The idea of the display at the meet is to get more people interested in stones.

It is a three day event. Our display will not have an area for bikes forsale.
But if you contact the AMA you will be able to arrange for a spot to sell.

Hello, my name is Chris Riddle. I'm from the Columbus, Ohio area, and I own a 1971 Bridgestone 100 TMX. Looking forward to attending the Vintage Days event July 9-11. From my understanding you should be able to bring it to the Bridgestone displsy
area and park it.

Sounds like you have a spot in the corral area arranged.  I would suggest renting some large tents for the display, as it will be dusty in that area, and it almost always rains at least once during Mid-Ohio Vintage Days.  Most of the vintage clubs do this.  Also, brings some chairs, coolers, lots of ice and water, as it is most likely gonna be hot!

These spots and big grassy areas, something like 50' x 100' in size.  There should be lots of space for folks to park bikes.

This is one of the best events for vintage bikes in the country.  It should be a lot of fun!

The AMA will be having a press release regarding the Bridgestone display
by the end of this week.

I will be sending out more information once the press release is made.

The spot and tent will be taken care of. We just need to make the display
one every body enjoys and appreciates.
