Does anyone know of any origanized rides in the eastern US that are set up fro smaller bikes, I have ridden the
Sucks GA  ride a few time, but that 50cc run has turned into race. 

I would like to know of rides, where the bikes are ridden on the roads, just for fun

Try  http://motogiro-usa.com/.  Unfortunately, it appears you missed this year's run, but bookmark it for next year.  You can do a search on "motogiro" on the Bridgestone Yahoo group and find some discussions of this event over the years.

There is (or has been) a ride around Lake Michigan in the past for under 200cc, but I can't find the info on it.

The VJMC always has a ride associated with it's annual meet.  http://www.vjmc.org/

There is a ride for vintage bikes associated with Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid-Ohio every year.  http://www.amadirectlink.com/vmd/2009/index.asp  Of course, that's always worth going to for all the other stuff going on also.

No wonder I couldn't find the info on the Lake Michigan loop - it's the Lake Erie Loop:  http://www.lakeerieloop.com/index.html    It's June 5-7, 2009, so get going!

Do a Google search on "lake erie looper".  You'll get plenty of stories.

The USCRA web site http://www.race-uscra.com/events.html indicates there is a fall Motogiro September 18,19,20.  I missed this the first time I looked.  They don't seem to have the entry forms up yet, and these are pre-entry only events with limited entry.
