Disassembly of 350GTR rear shocks

Hi everyone
Fairly new to the site and cannot find any reference to taking the 350 GTR rear shocks apart, i need to get individual parts rechromed.
I've made my own compressor up but found that the shocks don't come apart what to me is the logical way i.e. pull the top eye away from the spring cover to reveal a circlip.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Call me a TW*^T, i dont have to look at the link, i know NOW that all you do is unscrew the top eye from the the top spring cover.
I was looking too deeply into it and missed the simple option.
