Lets talk Carburetors
« on: May 15, 2011, 11:22:57 AM »
As everyone knows I am building a 175 for top end speed. I am thinking of using Mikuni TM24 flat slide carbs with the boost jet. I would greatly appreciate some of you smarter guys to make recommendations, suggestions etc. And if you have anything for sale, speak up. Not locked on those carbs am open to anything.
Also same on ignition system.

Just made a deal with Kevine of Lectron Carbs to build a set of carbs for this project.. They will be 30mm reduced down to 28mm and then to 26mm. I have used them in the past and they are fabulous. They have a power jet setup to add fuel on the top end.

Had to srap the Lectron idea, can't get them into the cases, way too big. Back to needing some 26 / 28 carbs.
