Kelly, there is really no difference functionally with the tank or seat. The tank I noticed because it's painted gold like the 70 GTO's were and the seat has the "Bridgestone" logo that is placed in a more forward position than the ones on the GTR's.

The front fender on your bike is shorter and has stays that curve up. The GTR fender is longer and has straight stays.

Are you going to keep it in GTR form or switch back to GTO?

Hi moonpup the bike was imported from the states to the UK as it is so I don't know the history .you obviously have a keen eye ,on closer inspection of the frame plate it does say GTO on it .what is the difference with the tank from a GTR tank and also is there a difference with the seat?

Hi Kelly, the tank, seat and front fender all point to your bike being a GTO. Do you know the story on these parts? Were they replacement peices added to it?  Just curious....  Mike
