Description: After some minimal filing to fit the parts,all the adjoining edges were beveled and welded all the way through on both sides. Since the factory produced the rear of the swingarm in sections like a sandwich,I removed @ 1/8" of the pressed steel skin all the way around the joint to be welded to expose the thicker steel core,and then beveled the edges. This ensures good penetration of the welds.
