dual twin motor

Description: I have taken apart and cleaned everything I can get to so far. Both pistons seem to be stuck and I cannot get them loose. Inside the engine case is a lot of oil. I have completely rebuilt the carbs and sonicated every peice.
If anyone has any ideas on how to free up the pistons please let me know.

Since the cylinders have a chrome plated bore you have to be very careful if you are trying to save them and use them as is. I worked on a Yamaha R5 engine that was locked up (two stroke twin), and what I had to do was split the case and dis assemble everything from the engine I could. I coated the cylinders with oil above and below the piston and let penetrating oil soak in for a few days, Then I set the top half of the case (with cylinders, pistons, and crankshaft attached) on top of wood blocks so it was rigid and could be pounded on without breaking anything. Make sure the crank is hanging freely and has space to move down. I then used a piece of two by something that I split so that it would fit in the cylinder. I hit it with a hammer to push down on one of the pistons. When that one started to move I began to work the other one until it started to move and I continued to work back and forth so the pistons moved down evenly until they finally came out.
