Bridgestone GTR 350 engine.
I have been working on another GTR engine i put a used crankshaft in with new out side bearings.
Because the right side of the crankshaft the threads were worn and somebody has drilled the left
Hand nut and into the crankshaft to put a roll pin in to hold the nut in place.
Next i reworked the gearbox new out put shaft bearing and third gear ckecked the shift forks.
Cleaned the groves in the shifter drum plus cleaned the crankcases etc.

What method was used to clean the case? Looks great! Hope all is well there in Huddleston.

On that engine casings i degrease first then i bead-blast, power wash off then i use baking soda to finish off.
Then i clean the casings with air and spray a little bit of wd-40 etc.
Its just a inexpensive way of doing things apart from your time.

We painted the crankcase cover the other day so i will let them dry for a few days.

Steve, looks like a very nice color to replace the bare metal original finish. If I didn't want mine done in black, I would go with the one pictured.
