I use capacitors in my Kaw triples instead of a batt.
Only drawback is the lights won't work unless it's running.
It will hold a charge for about a day or two and you can charge it
in a minute with a batt charger but you don't need to.
A cap also takes much more abuse than a batt and 2-strokes
are tough on batts.
You may need to wrap it in foam to make it snug.
I used a can koozie turned inside out.
50k mfd 16 volt computer grade cap.
They run about $40.
