Was thinking the other day about something that happened back in September of 2016 after I had gotten my GTR running. Thought I would share it here. I bought this GTR from a widow whose husband was kill in a work related accident about 10 years earlier. She has 2 sons both in their early 20's. This GTR sat in an abandoned house for longer than they have been alive and had never seen it run so one Saturday I rode it over to their place to show them the bike and the younger of the brothers was home. Josh looked it over had a big smile on his face amazed at the transformation. Told him about the restoration process and all I had done to it. Then I asked him if he would like to take it for a ride. Oh the look he got on his face I will never forget, he didn't say a word just a slight yes nod with his head. I explained the shift pattern and away he went! This alone made all the time, money, and effort worth it. I think I was smiling just as big as Josh was!................Rod
