New newbie

Hi everyone! My name is Dan and I've got a 196? BS 90 sport that's SLOWLY getting restored. Paint has been done for a few years and last I looked in the shed, the chrome still looks good.

Been looking on and off for parts for years and I came across this forum.

Okay, first the story, then what I need. It begins like.... "There is a wrong way to install the oil injection system......"

I'm in need of a new piston and rings (there's more to the story, believe me) or at the very least a usable piston and rings.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

 Welcome to the board,Dan. it sounds like you may need more than just a piston and rings. Read the free manuals topic and start with the parts breakdowns. Good luck,Mark.

Thanks rocketman, For now I'd just be happy getting it back in one piece. It all started when I broke the oil injector bolt. The cylinder wall is a bit scored, but I can get by with that. The piston is broken and once I get that replaced, I can run pre-mix until I get the oil injection working again.
