It is kind of an entertaining book, isn't it?

This might be a good opportunity for members to tell the tale on how they found their Bridgestone(s). I'm sure not everyone had had a brand new Bridgestone just given to them.  ;D
I have a tilt wheel for more headroom!

I do not know of any BS books, the most information seems to be on the Download sections of this website.
I do have a copy of Cobra in the Barn and have really enjoyed it, I will order the cycle version of that book now

Try this book called investment biker.
About going around the World on a BMW.
Jim Rogers was a wallstreet legend before
he wrote investment biker he did 65.067 miles
by land and thousands by sea and air.
Older book good read!

I would suggest the book, Stealing Speed by Matt Oxley. A great two-stroke story with intrigue, treason and money. Now I wonder, did Bridgestone benefit from this technology theft?

That reminds me of the story of Kawasaki buying a Triumph Bonneville 650 and taking it back to Japan
And copying it and then we had a Kawasaki W1 650!
PS i have a Triumph Bonneville 650 and a W1 650 Kawasaki and i like them both.
Thanks.
Reed.

Not to stray too far from the subject Reed, but which one do you find more dependable? The triumph,or the Kaw?  Mark.

I know this is not a book, but it is a great story by Gary Charpentier " Diary of A Cafe Racer ". The story is called " The Devil Between My Legs " this story reminds me of my childhood  friends that road bikes ,and how it affected them, I found this story very entertaining.

Another book I would suggest is Classic Japanese Racing Motorcycles, by Mick Walker. The 1991 edition that I have is out of print but used copies can be found for sale. You might try your local library. The ISBN is 1-85532-105-X. Happy New Year.

TALES OF TRIUMPH MOTORCYCLES AND THE MERIDEN FACTORY.
BY HUGHIE HANCOX.
This is a good book to read all about Triumph motorcycles in the 1950 and then into the 1970.
How it came to a terrible end.
Thanks.
Steve.
PS the greatest motorcycles in the world was made in the 1950 coming out of Meriden
Then slowly changed throughout the 1960 to the 1970 to the end.
