RESTORE BRIDGESTONES NEW OR USING THE PARTS YOU HAVE.

Should we restore Bridgestones like they were new or using the parts you have
And then  used them on a regular basis.
which way would you go.

Yeah Reed,I think it depends on what you are going to do with it when the resto is complete. Most resto's Ive done thru the shop as daily drivers,are not usually done to the extent of the more show/concourse resto. Bikes are the same way. There are a few who can afford to use them anyway. Around here road salts,etc.spell a quick end to all your perfect work. New is nice,not as much labor involved,but there is just nothing that compares to the gratification of renewing an original part. sometimes it requires a balance of both.  Mark.
