Paul,

Yes, Mr. Hayashi was from Marusho/ Lilac originally.
Mr. Araki who designed engine was also from Marusho/Lilac but he passed away last year.

GTR's design owed large part for Mr. Hayashi and Mr. Atsushi Yokoyama who came from Tohastu originally.
Mr. Yokoyama worked for Piaggio and Kawasaki US later year.
Kawasaki KZ 1000 police was designed by Mr. Yokoyama but he passed away several years ago.

Thanks for sharing these photos. Have you met other engineers who worked on the GTR design? Did  Mr. Hayashi work for Marusho/Lilac?
