Title: new to bridgestone
Post by: theBSer on April 14, 2011, 05:57:37 PM
i bought a 1970 bridgestone 175 dual from a friend two weeks ago. I already stripped everything down to its frame. the motor was locked and after some tlc and a hammer i freed up the motor. I looked at the cylider walls and theres a few chips it the walls. One right above one of the inports and another higher on the right cylinder. should i rebore or replate and where can i have this done. Also im not going stock with this so i will have some stock parts for sale. There is only 4000 miles on this bike.  Most of this restore is clean up and new basic parts such as brake cables and cluch cables exc. The wiring seems to be alright but i would like to see if i can upgrade to a newer wiring so i can add turn signals on this bike.Any advice is welcomed like i said im new at this and need as much help as i can get. Ive already found all the parts websites to get the parts that i need. I have already restored a 87 trac liberty moped and now wanted a real bike so here i am help?

Thanks theBSer
