Piston Ring

Got a set of rings in today from Richard for my 90 Trail Oil Inj.
One ring is dull black looking the other has a chromeish edge.
Does anyone know which goes on top. I do know that the letter
on ring faces up but unsure of which ring is in which groove.

Just like youngcycle 35c said, chrome ring on the top between the pin etc.
