Weather has caused some delays on engine assembly. Spent some time today after plowing snow. Got neutral and fifth gear switch lined up and working properly. Tomorrow I will complete clutch assembly and take some pictures of the engine together. Starting to feel like a spring time ride will be in order.
Thanks Mike

No mechanical delays you would like to share Mike?

You mean the reopening of the cases to install the forgotten splash shield. Yes that also slowed progress a little but all better now.
Thanks Mike

Engine almost ready to go in frame. New clutch today, first run of Richard's new clutch kits. Pistons cylinders etc. in place. Will complete the rest once in frame. Clutch fit up real nicely, should work great. New clutch drum, hub, springs and pressure plate should make a smooth setup.

Looks like it survived reopening without incident. Still anxious to hear it crackle.

Hopefully the weather will clear up before it is time for the bike to breathe some smoke.

Hopefully, you'll have some clear weather soon.  This Indiana winter has been weird, almost no snow all winter, then March arrives with a bunch of snow and several very cold nights.  At least we won't have to wait for several feet of snow to melt like some areas of the country.

Hi Karl,
Don't want to admit it but I brought it with from Minnesota when I picked up a 90 from Mike.
Sorry...Lee

The least you could've done is take it back with you.   :)

Actually thought it was a pretty good trade Karl, a Blizzard for a Bridgestone, in fact Mike is still talking about it.  ;)

Engine may go in frame tomorrow, I can finish the rest of it while in the frame. Depends on the snow tomorrow and how much outdoor fun I get to enjoy. HaHa
Thanks Mike

Hi Mike,
Your bike looks great so far, only one little crows foot I can see and I'm not being critical here your bike looks awesome but the coiling on the dynamo on mine looked as your does , rusty.
So I wire brushed it up and sprayed over it with a rattle can of high temp lacquer and now it looks, better ??
Don't know if this is helpful you or not.
Regards Colin

Thanks, but I don't spray anything on my engines. They were not sprayed when new and I also don't polish parts. It just makes things too hard to maintain with heating, cooling and oils.
