I agree  Kotaro's handlebars are excellent, they will look great on our restoration machines, chrome much nicer
than original Bridgestone chrome.  Kotaro did a great job, and I am  happy to have them in stock for easier
shipping.

Checking out for GTR bars, wondering how much the bars are from Richard (if still available)?  I have been only able to find some bars that are available at:  http://www..com/handlebars-grips.html but not sure what the original BS measurements are for the originals. ( I still have the ape hangers on mine )

If Richard no longer has the repo bars which make life easy, no rechroming. Let me know I may have a set of used bars which can be rechromed.
Thanks Mike

I went down and measured my GTR bars and came up with this:

Width  28
Rise     7
Pull Back  6
Center width  7

I did this with a tape measurer and it is approximate. I'm not real sure how they are doing the "pull back" but I visualized the front centerline of the bars and measured back from that to the ends of the grips.

Maybe someone else could verify these,

It looks like maybe "B - Magna Hawk" might be somewhat close on your list. As far as I know GTR bars had no crossbar but the GTO bars did?

I never thought about it but handlebars might be rare, kinda like chain guards, kick start levers and engine side (carb) covers. The chain guards were flimsy and cracked and got tossed and the rest bit the big one in any kind of wreck or mishap, even falling over in the garage probably got the bars.

If Mike doesn't have any bars I'll go check the parts bike in the shed, I don't know if it has stock bars or not.

Try Richard also.... I'll bet he still has Kotaro's Repops. That might be the best way to go. I certainly won't deduct any points if you use them, plus, they are probably nicer than the real ones.  ;D

Thanks, and yes, i understand also the GTO bars have the crossbar the GTR doesn't. Looks like the site i checked into wouldn't have what i am looking for. I will contact Richard this coming week for the bars. If for some reason the Kotaro bars would not be available, i will need to purchase bars from either Mike or Tom for re-chroming, i can let you know what i find out after contacting Richard. Thanks for your help  :)
