Bridgestone is buying the Pep Boys chain of stores.

They weren't so good at stocking my 240Z parts, hope they do a better job with 350 GTR/GTO stuff!

They'll probably be as good at that as they are at supplying reproduction tires.

They already owned the Firestone tire stores, and some other tire/auto repair outlets. Eliminating the competition by acquisition. Expanding their total number of store fronts. Too bad the motorcycle company and / Rockford never thought like this.
