Need some help identifying my little bike.....and more
« on: June 15, 2013, 08:09:26 PM »
You guys must be getting sick of me already!  I finally stripped the paint around the serial number on my smaller Bridgestone.  No idea what I have here, can anyone else help?  Looks like QO 34078

I also walked away from the CVMG Rally yesterday with a LOAD of parts that were practically given to me.  I know some are 175 items that I need like a missing headlight.  Not pictured is the additional 90 tank that I am stripping and the handlebars that are in great shape! The other parts?  No clue....I am guessing a mix that range between 50-350cc.  If you see something you need for your bike, please let me know.  If I don't need it I am happy to pass it on to you or trade...whichever.  I appreciate the help!

I can't add pics into the gallery, it keeps timing out....Please visit my blog, I have all the pics in my latest post.  Sorry for the inconvenience!

Well it seems I didn't see a little stamping on the engine underneath all that grease!  18G007658.  I believe this would make it an oil injected sport 90, made in 1966.  Still need help with the other stuff though!

Jon, thought I'd post up one of your pic's to help you get some answers. Don't know much about the smaller BS models, but it looks like you definitely have a chrome 350 tail light backing plate. Some others that may also be for the 350 include a horn, coils, gas caps and maybe a foot peg or two. Of course, some of these may be interchangeable with the 175's & 200's.... so don't take my word for it.  ;D

Thanks Moonpup, I wanted to post and tried about 10 times before I gave up.

Any idea what that skid plate is for? It seems huge!  I am thinking not Bridgestone.....?

I think it's a 175 HS or 200 SS skid plate.  Check out the 175 parts book, it looks like the sketch in there.

The 6th picture down shows an air filter housing. Is there a filter on the other side?

Hi Hap,

Yes it does have an air filter in the housing, it is unused and it looks unmounted.  Any idea what it fits?

yes its for a Sport 90 with the oil injection. I would be interested in buying the unused air filter from you since mine is crumbling apart. Could you show me a picture of the air filter which should be on the other side of the metal housing?

Yes, skid plate is from a Bridgestone 175 Hurricane Scrambler.

Hi Hap, it appears my Sport 90 is missing an air filter, so I'm afraid it's not for sale.  I do appreciate you helping me with the identity issue

Also, The very last picture......the part at the very bottom is a muffler hanger for the 175 Hurricane Scrambler.
