Did the GTR shine like this in 1967?

Paul
In 1967 when you took a picture of a Bridgestone GTR.
The pictures were in black and white, so now that we
Have color pictures that's why my Bridgestone looks
So shiny  ;D
Thanks.
Steve.

Paul, this guy Steve is a polishing Guru. In 67 my brand new GTR wasn't even close to that level of shine. He just enjoys "modestly" showing off.

I put the spare tank on to see how the Bridgestone GTR looks.
The chrome tank is working on me.
Thanks.
Steve.

The finishing touch. Steve, I'm thinkin about tryin metallic silver on my tank as a temporary until I can get chrome. Steve S.'s 175 looks real clean like that. It will look better than solid paint anyway, I think. A badge or black lettering may also look good. I'll mull that over a glass of tea.

David,
That will work, the cost to get your tank chromed and painted is expensive today.
I get things done bit by bit,and you and your cold tea  :)
Thanks.
Steve.

Steve....

When we left England 3-400 years ago, our tea was steaming hot.  But alas, it was stone cold by the time we got to the other side of the pond!

We've been drinking it that way ever since.  8)

I can paint, polish, and powder coat but chroming is a problem as my money is tight. Like moonlighting said, brokenstein is my name. I'm workin up here in Kentucky about 30 minutes from Richard's place in Indiana. Is that where his parts warehouse is located?

Bikenstein, I heard it is 6 floors with an escalator.   Rumor has it that it is bigger than Willy Wonkers factory!

I believe he has some good looking Oompa-Loompa's working there.  I imagine it gets pretty lonely out on the road for you.   A little blue eye shadow does wonders for them! (so they tell me)
